It is with great sadness that the family of Martin Michael Sayers (Marty) announce his passing, from thyroid cancer, on September 28th, 2024, in Julesburg, Colorado, at the age of 73. Surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments, he was a man of immense dry humor and wit. He was born on December 1, 1950, in Colorado Springs, to Frank and Donna Sayers. He grew up in Colorado Springs and attended St. Mary's High School. Marty will be sadly missed by his daughter Michelle Sayers, (Chris Pratt, grandson Aleister Martin Sayers-Flint), son Destyne Sayers, (Tara Sayers, grandson Nathan Martin Sayers). He is survived by his sisters, Lori Pinello, Rose Salcetti, (Bob) Beth Chapman (Bob), sister-in-law Diane Sayers, and many nieces and nephews. His parents predeceased him, as did his brother John Sayers. Marty was a small business owner and known as the "The Painter Man". He lived in Kremmling, CO for 30 years, was on the city council there and most recently retired in Julesburg, CO where he worked as a Certified Intuitive Energy Healer - Emotion Code, Body Code, Belief Code at Brain2Heart. Marty believed in miracles and magical thinking! He was a stunning photographer, kayaker, pilot and loved to travel in his youth.


His Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Elks Lodge in Colorado Springs: 3400 N Nevada Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80907.
