Gloria Matthews

Gloria Geraldine Matthews, 97, of Julesburg CO passed away peacefully at the Sedwick County Memorial Hospital.

In 1982 Gloria met Crystal Worley who like her, married into the same family. Gloria loved Crystal and referred to her as nothing less than her Granddaughter. In 1988, shortly after the passing of Gloria's husband, Orville, Crystal took Gloria in. Gloria got to experience a life that most do not get. She was able to spend most every day watching and being apart of each of her 4 great grandchildren's' lives. From diapers, to attending school activities, graduations, marriages, and the arrival of 11 great-great grandchildren. From going to the lake to playing games for hours at the table, Gloria never missed a chance to be with her family. Though much of her past was unknown, what was known was the amount of love she had for her family.

Gloria is preceded in death by both her parents and her husband and is survived by her Granddaughter, Crystal (Lyle) Worley; Great-grandchildren, Adam Garrett-Worley (Jordan), Matthew Worley, Eva Harris (Timothy), and Tony Worley; Great-Great Grandchildren, Gavin Worley, Peyton Worley, Phillip Harris, Alexis Worley, Jaelynn Harris, Elizabeth Harris, Tatum Worley, Kaislee Harris, Daxton Worley, Grayson Harris, and Juno Worley.
