Frank Aguiniga

FRANK AGUINIGA, 85, of Julesburg, CO, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Sedgwick County Nursing Home in Julesburg, CO.

Frank married Vera on September 19, 1959, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Julesburg, and the couple made their home in Sedgwick.

Frank worked on farms for much of his younger years. He eventually took a job at the sugar factory, where an unfortunate accident left him disabled. Frank would continue to work odd jobs when he could, primarily staying busy with yard work over the years.

Frank had a wonderful and sharp sense of humor. He worked hard and loved to grow flowers. Frank came from a large household, and he always had an appreciation for the bonds of family.

He is survived by his wife, Vera of Julesburg; brother Raymond (Mary Lou) Aguiniga Sidney, NE; sisters, Vera Dominguez of Fort Morgan; Lupe Martinez of Othello, WA; along with many nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded by his parents, five sisters, and three brothers.

A memorial has been established in Frank's memory for later designation. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsjulesburg.com, where the services will be streamed live.

Memorial services will be on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Julesburg Christian Church, with Pastor Alan Harris officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home Chapel from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
