Chris W. Dracon Jr., 62 of Julesburg, passed away May 4, 2018, at the Sedgwick County Memorial Nursing Home in Julesburg.
Chris was born September 16, 1955, at Chicago, Illinois to Chris W. and Bonnie (Steel) Dracon Sr. He graduated from Alameda High School in Denver.
Chris worked throughout the Denver area as a concrete finisher until an accident in 1980 left Chris in a permanently debilitated state. Chris lived with his parents for several years until he was placed in the Sedgwick County Memorial Nursing Home, the staff and residents of which, became like an extension of his family for the past 30 years.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his brother, Michael Dracon of Julesburg; Uncle, George (Delores) Dracon of Akron, CO; along with multiple cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the Sedgwick County Memorial Nursing Home in his memory. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsjulesburg.com.
The family is hosting a Memorial Service at the Sedgwick County Nursing Home in Julesburg at 3:00p.m. on Wednesday, May 9th.
Interment of cremains will be in the Hillside Cemetery at Julesburg.
